Sarah Torrey (Batt)

Sarah (Batt) Torrey was the only child born June 21, 1678.[1] in Medfield, Norfolk, Massachusetts[2] to Paul Batt and Sarah Wilson in Weymouth, Massachusetts. Her father probably died 1678, the year she was born.

It wasn't 2 years before her mother married Josiah Torrey, the 6th of 8 children born to William Torrey and Elizabeth Frye. Together she and Josiah had 3 children being Josiah Torrey Jr, Margaret (Torrey) Chapin and Mary (Torrey) Manley.
Family

Sarah Batt married Micajah Jr. 1703 in Weymouth Massachusetts. Josiah was Micajah's uncle, but Sarah was NOT related by blood to Josiah. Together Sarah and Micajah had the following children:

   Daniel Torrey B. 1703 Died 2 mos old 

   Sarah (Torrey) Whitmarsh 

   James Torrey 

   David Torrey 

   Daniel Torrey b. 1717 d. 2 mos old

Death

Sarah died 10 MAY 1763 probably in Weymouth, Norfolk, Massachusetts. Her Gravestone says "in ye 85th year of her age"
