

-Died a week or so after giving birth to an infant son who also died. - After having 6 girls, Joe & Sarah finally had a baby boy, but their joy soon turned to sorrow, as mother Sarah passed away when the baby Amos was 2 weeks old. Before passing away she stated her desire to take her baby with her. This desire was given 11 days later when he too passed on. The older girls helped with the household chores and kept the family together until Joe Z remarried. (YoJs) - YODER. ? Oct. 18, near Belleville, Mifflin Co., Pa., Sarah, wife of Jos. Z. Yoder, and daughter of Benj. Hartzler, aged 41 years, 8 months and 17 days. She was much respected and loved, and died in the hope of a blessed immortality. The funeral services on the 20th by David J. Zook and J. H. Byler were very largely attended and very impressive.
