Sardar Genral Gurmukh Singh Lamba, IZAZI-I-SARDARI NirmalBud UjjalDiddar

Sardar Genral Gurmukh Singh Lamba was one of most iment General of Maharaja Ranjit Singh.He was wounded fifteen times and was with Maharaja ,fought all major wars,captured the famous Fort of Rothas (Word Heritage Fort ) from Nur Khan ,father of Fazil Dad Khan in 1825. Commanded Division and assisted in capturing of Fort of Attak in 191 .In 1822 commanded Fauj-e-Kas. He defeated Main Kishora Singh ,father of Main Dhain and Gulab Singh Rajas of J&K.Main brothers Raja Gulab & Dahain Singh were also ways pulling him down and were having lot of influence over Maharaja Ranjit Singh 2 Sir Lepel Henery Griffen renewed historian of Sikh History writes "The detail account of the military services of the sardar would be the history of all wars of the sikh empire."Sardar sketch painting portrait is displayed at Central Museum of Lahore (Pakistan ) at serial D-40 with caption which give out enmity of Sardar with Jammu Rajas
