Brother Snow gladly complied and in a remarkable prayer, in behalf of “Father Davis” reviewed the life, labors, sacrifices, struggles with pain, as well as the record of this faithful man. Before leaving the house, he said to Brother Davis: “Brother William, I want you to take this message to the Spirit world—tell Charles Rich and Brother Brigham and all the others, we’ll soon be with them.” The following day, 11-22-1883, Father Davis departed this life to join his brethren in the better land.
