Esteemed Resident of Belmont Has Passed Away.

Mrs. T. D. Simpson died at her home, 505 North Pegram street, last night at 8 o'clock after an illness, following a stroke of paralysis, that lasted for some time. She was 70 years of age and is survivied by two sons and four daughters, namely Messrs. D. A. Simpson of Titussville, Fla., and C. D. Simpson of Pell City, Ala., Mrs. C. F. Alexander of Thrift and Mrs. D. M. Thomas of Statesville Road and Misses Elizabeth and Savannah Simpson of this city. Mrs. Simpson was a devout member of Belmont Park Church. No hour had been fixed for the funeral last night but it will not take place before tomorrow, the time to be announced today.
