Scott Baldwin, son of Noah Baldwin and Sally Scott, was b. June 16,1788; settled in Montrose, Penn.; m. Sept. 24,1805, with LOIS COOK. He settled first in Montgomery county, NY.; thence to Montrose, in 1808.He d. in Montrose in Apr. 1874; his wife d. Jan. 1860, aged 78.

Children were: David (1806), Alfred (1808), Sally (1810), Chapman (1812), John S. (1814), Noah (1816), Edmond (1819), Myron (1821), Hannah (1823), Almira (1825), Louisa (1829), and Isaac (1832).

  • 1850 US census for son Myron. Scott and Lois res. close to Myron & Eliza and family in Bridgewater, Penn. They were born Connecticut.
  • 1870 US census: Scott is living, aged 81, with son Alfred & wife Marietta in Penn.

Per 1880 census for son Noah Baldwin, both his parents (Scott & Lois) were born in Connecticut. However, son Alfred's 1880 census lists his parents as born in New York.
