! Original marriage records, Book #1, 1820-1844, Ray Co., Missouri has the marriage record of Scott L. Casper and Missouri Clark on 5 Jan 1843. The marriage was performed by his brother, James, who was a Justice of the Peace. An original deed record of Ray Co. , E-199, 1844 mentions Scott Casper and Catherine, his wife. In the Ray Co. probate records (File C, Box 13) David H. Neel is the administrator of Scott Casper's will and Missouri Casper is mentioned as Scott's wife and later she is referred to as Missouri McDowell (late Missouri Casper etc.) and the records show that Missouri Ann Casper married James McDowell 3 Aug 1845. In Avarilla Durbin Casper's history she states that Scott Litten Casper married Missouri Catharine Clark. No children were born to this couple.
