Boston (Sebastian) Hoblit - b.13 FEB 1774 in Fayette Co., KY; d. 03MAR1859 in Bellbrook, Green Co., OH. He is buried in the Primitive Baptist Cem., Bellbrook, OH. He served in War of 1812. Boston's 1st wife was Sarah Elizabeth Middleton - were married 1793/94 in OH; They had ten children. Second wife was Lydia Sayre - m. 1833 in OH.
Note: All of the children were with first wife Sarah Middleton.
Note: He always went by the name "Boston" Hoblit. Served in the War of 1812, as an Ensign in Capt. John Clark's company, from Greene Co, OH. Was one of the first settlers in Greene County, Ohio, and became quite a prominent man. Was constable and county trustee.

He raised his family near Waynesville, Ohio and was a great hunter. Had a fight with a bear and killed the bear with the help of his little dog. His children all married and lived near him. (Above per W G Hoblit)
