Severine Gundersen

Severine was apparently a devoted follower of Hans Nielsen Hauge, who led a Christian re-awakening of the Norwegian Lutheran church, in the same vein as the Great Awakening in the UK and US.

She is mentioned in connection to a small group of Haugianere based in Herøy.

Her marriage certificqte shows her as being born in Herrøe. She got married in 1839 at age 26.
