About Sgt. Scott Martin Jacobs

Scott M. Jacobs, 52, of Robesonia, passed away on October 29, 2015, at his residence, surrounded by his loving friends and family.
Born in Morgantown, he was the son of the late Donald H. and Arvilla J. (Kachel) Jacobs.

Scott graduated from Twin Valley School District in 1980.

He honorably served his country in the US Army and US Marine Corps for 17 years.

Scott was employed as a tools and supply technician for the 99th Regional Command Support.

Scott was an active member of American Legion Post 537, VFW Post 6558, AMVets PA0136, Robesonia Fire Company, Marion Rod and Gun Club and Iron House Helpers.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Jacobs; son, Scott M. Jacobs, husband of Jordan, of Spokane, Washington; step-son, Brian L. Davies, husband of Angela of Troy, PA; grandchildren: Noah, Ava, Alana and Brian; siblings: Donald E. Jacobs, Roger C. Jacobs, Melvin H. Jacobs, Linda J. Bergmeister, Barry L. Jacobs, Debra G. Stauffer and Karen L. Scalese; many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, on Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at 1:30p.m. Those attending the service may join the funeral procession upon arrival at cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wreaths Across America, C/O American Legion Post 537, 4499 N. Twin Valley Road, Morgantown, PA 19543.
