Sgt Thomas Barber set Sail March 16 1634 on the Christian Ship From London England and arrived at BOSTON ,Ma,June 1635.

Thomas was taught the Trade of Carpentry by Francis Stiles March 28 1637 Eight years later he was still an apprentice Carpenter but eventually learned the trade and passed it on to his Children who passed it on to their children who left Ma. and Virgina to build Cabins in Ohio after the Revolutionary War around 1811.
