About Shifra Oppenheim

Not the widow of Isak Bondi. SeeTobias Jakobovits, Die Verbindung der Prager Familien Oettingen-Spira (Wedeles)-Bondi.

I do beleive that the following [copied from David Oppenheim's profile] fits the personal data: Oppenheim subsequently moved from Nikolsburg to Prague, where he took up the post of chief rabbi in 1702. His wife died in 1712, and he subsequently married Shifra, daughter of Binyamin Wolf Spira-Wedeles and widow of Yitsḥak Bondy, the leader of one of Jewish Prague’s political factions [Not true!] (Michael D. Bruell)

Schifra (Shifra) SPIRA Born: bef 1673 Died: 31 Dec 1737 in Prague + R' Isaac ben Solomon ZALMAN (see BONDI family) Born: abt 1664 Occupation: rabbi of Prague

Note: Lawrence Weinberg has Schifra's husband as Salomon Lichtenstadt-Levi (bef 1678 m. 1691 - 1697 Prague) AND on Judaica Bohemiae: Salomon Oettingen Lichtenstadt, son of Abraham Aaron Lichtenstadt, had become engaged to Schifra, the youngest daughter of R' Wolf Wedeles
