Sidwell Pepper (1976 - 2020)

Brief overview:

Sidwell (44), and Eugene Peter du Plessis (54), the farmer, and owner of the smallholding in Maclear EC, were found by police on 17th February 2020. Neighbours informed the police that they had last seen them between 10th and 14th February. Both men had been tied up, and their throats slit. Police discovered a gruesome scene and there were signs of horrific violence, after having forced the door open.

Three perpetrators were arrested the same day, after being found in possession of a television and cash. The three accused are, Andile Poni (40), Nkosivumile Mrwetyana (40) and a 17 year old youth. They appeared in court on 20th February 2020, and the case has been postponed.
