Marriage announced in "The Sydney Morning Herald" of Tuesday 5 February 1861:

"On the 31st ultimo, at Clifton Grove, Orange, by the Rev. James Adam, M.A., assisted by the Rev. T. Angwin, Simon Fraser, third son of the late Rev. George Alexander Simpson, minister of Tyrie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, to Mary Tom Lewis, third daughter of the late William Lane, Esq. J.P., of Orton Park, Bathurst."
