Simon Wolff

Simon Wolff was a house painter in St. Louis. He is recorded in the 1900 Federal Census living with his wife Lena Marx Wolff and their son Joseph. They lived at 2707 Sheridan near Cass in the City of St. Louis. The record indicates that he was born in Germany and arrived in the United States in 1888. He was not a citizen but could read and write English. His marriage to Lena Marx was in 1897.

In the 1920 Federal Census for St. Louis he is recorded living with his family at 3916 North Market Street. He was a house painter. He stated he came to the US in 1890. He stated he became a citizen in 1917. His sons were salesmen for dry goods. They were Joe age 20 and Nathan age 17.

He died in 1930 in St. Louis while married to Lena at 3916 North Market Street. Buried in Mount Olive Hebrew Cemetery.
