About Sion Bass

The probate records below prove that Sion Bass, son of Jesse, cannot be Sion Bass, husband of Sarah, father of Sandy and Thomas R. Bass who went to Fayetteville, Iowa. The two Sions will have to be separated. Stay tuned.

Sion Bass was bequeathed land and slaves in the will of Jesse Bass: "all of my tract of land known by the name of the Chery land and the remainder part of the Maning land and two negroes named CHARLES and LIZEN(?)."

See full will on Jesse's profile.
