About Sir George Alfred Wills, 1st Baronet

Our London correspondent reports the death of Sir George Alfred Wills, first Bart., the English tobacco magnate. Sir George, who was 74 years of age, was president of the Imperial Tobacco Company (Great Britain and Ireland), Limited, a director of the Great Western Railway, president of the Bristol General Hospital, and a director of the British America Tobacco Co., Limited. In 1878 he married Susan Britton Proctor, and there are four daughters and one son, George Vernon Proctor Wills, who will succeed to the baronetcy. The new, baronet was born in 1887, and in 1919 married Nellie Jeannie, daughter of Mr. T. J. Rutherford, of Aber gavenny. His sister is the wife of the Bishop of Bath and Wells (Right Rev. Dr. Willson).
