5, Sir Hugh Ridley, Knt. married Isabel, daughter of Sir John Heron, of Chipchase aforesaid, Knt. by whom he had four sons and one daughter, Dorothy, wife of Henry Jackson; 1, Sir Nicholas; 2, John, who married Jane, daughter of John Errington, brother of Gilbert Errington, of Errington, Esq. ; 3, Cuthbert; 4, Thomas, married his cousin, Elizabeth, daughter and heiress of John Ridley, of Wall-Town before-mentioned.

Sir Hugh Ridley 12 (3), son of Nicholas 11 (5), married Isabella, daughter of Sir John Heron, of Chipchase Castle. He was styled " of Willi- moteswick," Northumberland; was a knight; had issue, of whom hereafter. Died before 1565.

HUGH RYDLEY, son and heyre to Nycholas, maryed Yssabell, dowghter to Sir John Heron of Chepches, and by her had yssu Nycholas, eldyst soue : John, ijnd sone ; Cutberd, iijrd sone; Thomas, iiijth sone; Dorothe, wedyd to Henry Jackson.
