About Sir Kenneth Ralph Barnes
Sir Kenneth Ralph Barnes (11 September 1878 – 16 October 1957) was director of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, England, from 1909 until 1955. He took over the Academy of Dramatic Art five years after its foundation and turned it into one of the foremost acting schools in the world. He was knighted in 1938.
