Upon the death of his father, Thomas succeeded to Llanthony and other estates [Mr. Somersby's Genealogy of the Arnold Family," p. 9].

His eldest son, John, had a grant (in 1541) of the livery and manor of Higham and Over in parish of Churcham, Gloucestershire, where he died. This son was buried in the church at Churcham. Brass plate [One Hundred and Sixty Allied Families, p. 16].
