Sol Lou Nichols

Mr Sol Lou Nichols, 83, of Terry, passed away at the hospital in Terry following a long Illness. Mr Nichols was born in KS 4-29-1873. as a young man, he came to Montana with a trail herd in 1890 where he has made his home since, working on various ranches in eastern Montana and operating his own ranch before his retirement.
In the early 1900's Mr Nichols was married to Jeannette McDougalld, who preceded him in death in 1946. He is survived by one brother, Mr W D Nichols of Elmira OR and three sisters. Mrs Clayton Cory of Wells, NV, Mrs Ann Olmsted of Long Beach DA, and Mrs Mae Bergin of Honoulu, HI. Also surviving are six grandchildren, S W Dixon in the US Navy, Mrs Delbert Cole and Mrs Paul Still of Plevna, Donald, Lorin and Dale Dixon of Port Orford, OR, and one niece, Mrs Jimmie Kuehn of Missoula.
