Spr. John Eldred Mulholland

Son of John George Mulholland (1884-1960) and Helen Beatrice Mulholland (nee Murray) (1888-1961) who married in Wellington, New Zealand, on 23 May 1911. Husband of Ngaroma Mulholland (nee McCracken) (1918-2005) of Lower Hutt, Wellington. World War II: Sapper, New Zealand Engineers, 23 Field Company. Killed on active service on Mono Island, 60km south of Bougainville Island, and later reinterned at Bourail New Zealand War Cemetery in New Caledonia. Age 27.
