Stella McGinnis Parris, 97, widow of Roscoe Parris, died March 2, 2002, at Roger Huntington Nursing Center. She was formerly of St. James Drive, Spartanburg.

A native of Cherokee County, she was a daughter of the late Clifton and Carrie Byars McGinnis, was a member of State Line Baptist Church and was a retired employee of Beaumont Mill.

She was the last member of her immediate family.

Graveside services: 2 p.m. today in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Mike McGee. - The Wood Mortuary.
