1776 Summer age 21 served as pvt fir 1 month in Captain John Parker's
company, 1st Regt,Somerset Co. NJ.
of 1776 Served in fall as pvt, NJ Militia for 2 months, and again in Dec
1776 1 mo. Spring 1777 3 mos. Oct 1777 was pvt in Cpt Jacob
TenEyck's company. 1st Regt, Somerset Co. NJ Militia for 2 mos. He also
served with a detachment detailed by Col. Fredrich Freilinghuysen to
arrest refugees in Morris county.

1783-1786 (a) Stephen was a pew holders #59 of Basking Fidge
Presbyterian Church. (have listing from 'GENEALOGICAL MAGAZINE Vol
6-8 pg 106) (have)

They remained in NJ.

DIED 23 Oct 1833 aged 78 yrs.
