Stephen "Steve" Foster

Stephen "Steve" Foster, of Varnville, entered into Heavenly rest August 20.

He was the son of Mary Sims Foster and the late Stephen V. Foster, Sr.

Steve was retired from Westinghouse Corp. as a Lab Technician. He was a member of Hampton United Methodist Church, Woodmen of the World, Jaycees and was a volunteer fireman for 35 years for the town of Varnville.

He is survived by his wife, Dot Foster, his mother, Mary S. Foster of Columbia, a son Bobby Cope and wife Paula of Hampton; three sisters, Ann Johnson of Jackson, Betty Finch of Dallas, GA, and Molly McDowell of Richmond, VA; two grandchildren, Glen Cope of Easley and Russell Cope of Hampton; two great-grandchildren.
