As a young man, Stefan Karl Haurowitz sailed to the United States, arriving New York from Copenhagen on I June 1921 on the Hellig Olav. He was a Manufacturer. His nationality is given as Czechoslovakian; race Bohemian; birthplace and residence Prague; relative in Czechoslovakia Rudolf Haurowitz, Manufacturer, of Marienstrasse 39, Prague. He was visiting his friend, Professor Charles Beck, of North Chicago Hospital, Illinois.
