Steven Peter Lucich, 93, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, July 22, 2013.
Steve was born March 20, 1920 in Salinas. His parents were of Yugoslavian descent. He grew up in the Salinas Valley on his family's apricot and apple ranch located in Gonzales. He was a farmer and orchardist by profession. He owned and operated the family ranch for over 60 years.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Lucich; two daughters, Kathryn Lindsey and Paula (Jeff) Taylor; his son, Stevie Lucich; and his sister, Mary York. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Morgan, Brett and Garrett Taylor.
