Mr. Susan Alvord Farr Hunter, 80, 1009 21st, died Monday night at the Dee Hospital. Mrs. Hunter was born Aug 5, 1881, in North Ogden, a daughter of Joseph B. and Sarah E. Mower Alvord. She lived in West Weber and Taylor prior to coming to Ogden 15 years ago. On Oct 9, 1901 she was married to Barnard E. Farr in the Salt Lake Temple. He died Feb 4, 1925, in Ogden. She was married to James F. Hunter on Feb 26, 1935, in the Salt Lake Temple. He died July 23, 1957, in Ogden. She was a member of the Thirty- first Ward. She served as president of the Taylor Ward Primary and ha been active in Relief Society work. She was a member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Camp 41. She had been a practical nurse and helped organize public health immunization clinics in Taylor. Surviving are two sons, Barnard Floyd Farr, San Jose, Claif., Kenneth A. Farr, Nyssa, Ore., three daughters, Mrs. Clyde M. (Mable) Decker, Ogden; Mrs. Lawrence (LaVon) Hadley, Boise, Idaho; Mrs John W. (Nelda) Chawick, Murray; a stepson and stepdaughter, James Hunter, Reno, Nev., and Mrs. William (Edna) Demorest, Ogden; 21 grandchildren 41 great - grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Lee (Floss) Greenwell, Paul, Idaho. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. in Lindquist and Sons Colonial Chapel with Bishop Warren N. Shurtleff of the Thirty- First Ward conduction. Friends may call at the mortuary Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday prior to services. Interment in West Weber Cemetery.
