Susan Pate was born in 1604 in Colne, Lancashire, England, the daughter of Anthony Pate and Margret Heape. (No support found.) The marriage of Susan's parents was recorded 30 Nov 1601 at St. Bartholomew's Church in Colne.

She is listed as the Susan who married Anasias Conklin about 1639 on a FamilySearch profile of Ananias Conklin. Further sources are needed to support that Susan Pate is the Susan usually listed with unknown surname.

Susan was the mother of Anasias' fifth child Lewis baptized 30 April 1643 at the First Church of Salem. Susan died about 1652 prior to Anasias moving to Southold, New York in 1653.
