About Susan Elmira Miller
When Susan "Sudie" Elmira McCurdy was born on May 15, 1867, in Hopkins, Texas, her father, Thomas, was 27 and her mother, Caroline, was 24. She married Jesse Clinton Miller on September 5, 1888, in Hopkins, Texas. They had nine children in 17 years. She died two months after giving birth to son Arthur Clinton, on April 5, 1904, in Erin Springs, Oklahoma, at the age of 37.
In 1880, Susan McCurdy was 13 years old and lived in Black Jack Grove, Texas with her father, mother, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters.
In 1900, Susan A. Miller was 33 years old and lived in Township 3, Indian Territory with her husband, Jesse, son, and 4 daughters. She had one son and four daughters with Jesse C. Miller between 1890 and 1899. Susan gave birth to her youngest child, Arthur Clinton in February 1904 and she died a couple of months later in April 1904.
