About Susan Wheatley (Riney)
Susan (Riney) Wheatley was the daughter of Thomas Riney, Jr.,17xx-1818, and Priscilla (Mudd) Riney, 173x-1834. Susan (Riney) Wheatley is named in her father's 1818 will recorded in Washington County, Kentucky Will Book #C, page 129 and in her mother's 1834 will recorded in Washington County, Kentucky Will Book #E, page 388.
Her granparents were: Thomas Riney, Sr., 17xx-1795, and Hezekiah Mudd, Sr., 1755-1834 and Elizabeth (Edelen) Mudd, 1758-1838.
From her parents' wills we learn that Susannah "Susan" (Riney) Wheatley had, at least, these siblings: Robert Riney; Augustine Riney; Mary (Riney) Hardesty; Joseph Riney; Clement Riney; and Elizabeth Riney.
She married James Wheatley in Washington County, Kentucky on January 4, 1798--see Washington County, Kentucky Marriage Book 1, page 26 in the County Clerk's Office in Springfield, Kentucky.
