Susannah's parents Jeremiah Rich and Mary Hunter moved to Wake County, NC after the birth of Jesse, Nov. 24, 1758, and Judith, Jan 2, 1761, in Virginia (The Douglas Register, p.284), and after selling property in Virginia, April 13, 1762 (Goochland County, VA, Deed Book 8, p. 300). If Susannah was born in NC, then she must have been born after 1762.
Will of Jeremiah Rich dated 1781 Wake Co., NC, in Record Book 1, p. 174: "I give and Bequeath to my Daughter Susannah Bridges wife of James Bridges Ten Pounds specie to her and her Heirs forever." Susannah Rich and James Bridges must have married before 1781.
