1815--- In the Van Rensselaer papers stored in the New York State Archives in Albany, NY, Box 6, Folder 4, is a quit claim signed by Susannah and her husband Daniel as follows: [ punctuation and spelling as written]
Know all Men by these presents that I Daniel Jordain and Susanna My Wife of the town of Deerfield County of Wellsborough and State of pennsylvania have Remised Released and for ever Quit Claimed for me my heirs and administrators and by these presents do Remise release and for ever quit Claim unto Jonathan Coon of the town of Deruyter County of Maddeson and State of Newyork his heirs Executors administrators assigns al my rite title unto the estate of Jonathan Coon of the town of Petersburg County of Rensselaer and sate of New york diseased for the Consideration of one hundred and twenty dollars to me inhand paid at the Seating and delivery of these presents Deruyter July the 1st 1815
