About Susannah Melton

Susannah was the fourth child and second daughter of Benjamin Anderson (1755-1853) by his first wife, Rebecca Cureton (1768-1813). In Jones County, Georgia on June 26, 1817, she married West Allen Melton, Sr. (1792-1846). They had twelve children (see her husband's burial record for names and dates of the children).
