Sylvia Roland (Jordan)

Mrs. Sylvia Roland, age 68 of Canton, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2003 at her residence. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include her mother, Ruby Jordan of Ball Ground; sons, Tony Roland of Canton, Tim and Jeff Roland, both of Jasper; daughters, Kristy Moore of Ball Ground, Janie Allred of Centre, AL., Vivian and Teressa Womack, both of Jasper, Lisa Lusk of Canton and Kay Roland of Ball Ground; brothers, Clifton and Stanley Jordan, both of Ball Ground; sister, Doris Mooney of Ellijay. Twenty-four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren also survive.

The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb.19 from Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Revs. Tim Roland and Michael Lusk officiating. Interment followed in Pleasant Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
