TSgt. Rudolph Lee "Rudy" Sontag

Rudy went to be with the Lord on Dec. 29, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Eleanor; his sister, Nancy; and his wife, Kathy. Rudy retired as a sales manager from Prudential Insurance Company in 1994, he served in the Air National Guard and was a member of the American Legion and the Elks Club. He enjoyed camping, fishing and photography and spent the winter months as an active resident at Manatee RV Park in Ruskin, Fla. Rudy is survived by his children, Mike Sontag and wife Kim; daughter, Kathy Scherrer and husband Jeff; and his son, Jeff Sontag and wife Rebecca; two stepsons, Dennis Cummins and wife Heather and Doug Cummins and wife Jennifer; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
