When Thomasin Tamsen Walden and her twin sister Ruth were born in 1655 in Wenham, Massachusetts, their father, Edward, was 26 and their mother, Joan, was 23. She married Robert Simons in 1674 in her hometown. They had seven children in 41 years. She died on March 7, 1736, in Windham, Connecticut, having lived a long life of 81 years.
