Elana: dau. and heiress of Donal The MacCarthy Mór, Prince of Desmond; m. in 1588 Fingin (or Florence) MacCarthy Riabhach ("riabhach;" Irish, brindled, swarthy), Prince of Carbery and a quo Rea, Ray, and Wray, and had issue:—1. Teige who d. s. p., in the Tower of London; 2. Donal; 3. Florence;[7] and 4. Cormac. This Florence, the husband of Elana, and son of Sir Donogh MacCarthy Riabhach, was b. in Carbery, 1579, d, in London, Dec. 18th, 1640; his burial is thus registered in St. Martin's-in-the-Fields, London:—
