TELSCHE POPPE

Mrs. Claus Poppe died at the home of her granddaughter Mr. H. N. Edens Wednesday Oct. 20th, 1915, with whom she had been making her home for the past ten years. Telsche Thiessen was born in Germany on October 6, 1835. In 1852 she was married to Claus Popp and a few months later they came to America and settled near New Holstein. Mr. Poppe died in 1898. She leaves two sons, one sister, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The funeral will be held from the residence of H. N. Edens Saturday and the remains placed in the Town of Eaton cemetery.
