A Patriot of the American Revolution for MASSACHUSETTS with the rank of PRIVATE. DAR Ancestor # A046967
Thaddeus Granger lived at Suffield, Ct., and Granville and Sandisfield, Mass. he removed in 1807 to Deerfield, Portage County, O., and afterward to Akron, O., where he died in 1825. His widow, Julia, died at Memphis, Mich. At the age of 16 he was a fife major in the Revolutionary army, and served 3 months and 10 days, when the war closed. By occupation he was a farmer. One report says that Thaddeus died 4 Sept., 1824.
