About The Rt. Rev. Robin Eames, the Lord Eames, Archbishop of Armagh & Primate of All Ireland
Robin Eames, Baron Eames, OM is an Anglican bishop and life peer, who served as Primate of All Ireland and Archbishop of Armagh from 1986 to 2006. He currently serves as an active Crossbench member of the House of Lords, with special expertise in Northern Ireland and the Korean peninsula.
Eames was born in 1936, the son of a fellow clergyman. His early years were spent in Larne, with the family later moving to Belfast. In 1966, he married Christine Daly. They live in County Down.
