Townsend, Theodore L. 11/28/2021 Jackson, MI Theodore L. Townsend of Jackson passed away on Sunday, November 28th at the age of 96. He is survived by his wife of 63 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Helia Townsend, sister, Joyce (Jim) Jacklin and brother, Russell (Etta Mae) Townsend. He retired from Clark Equipment Company as an Inspection Supervisor. He was a drummer with the George King Orchestra in Jackson which played at dance clubs in the area. His hobbies were sailing, photography, gardening, and repairing most anything, often finding easier, more practical solutions to a problem. Cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Interment will take place at Roseland Memorial Gardens. "He was my treasure through most of my life. It was a pleasure to be his wife. When it is time for my days to end, I pray God guides me to my husband and friend."
