Theophilius Baldwin, son of Theophilius & Dorothy Treat served in the Revolutionary War. He had two wives. He first married Hepsiba or Hephzibah Sherman on 24 August 1763 in Woodbridge, New Haven, Connecticut.
They had two children Treat (1764-1720) & Leverett (1769-1830). Hepsiba died 4 Jan 1775 in Waterbury, Connecticut.
Theophilius married Sarah Strong on 24 April 1776 in Waterbury, Connecticut.
They had seven children: Sarah (1777-1846); Aner (1777-1846); Truman( 1779-1871); Theophilius 1780-1858); Jared (1782-1812); Eli (1784-1858); Cyrus (1787-1857).
