Thessa (37), was strangled to death on a smallholding near Muldersdrift, Transvaal (now West Rand, Gauteng), on 12th July 1991.

Thora Kopp (61), and her two daughters Thessa (37), and Sonja (31), were assailed by four men in their homestead on a smallholding near Muldersdrift. Thora and Sonja were gravely assaulted. Thessa tried to escape through her bedroom window, but her body was later found underneath a border fence. She was strangled.
