1804 WILL: VA, Prince Edward County, Will book 1 & 2: pg 33. (Found in District Court Records pg 53) Will of Thomas Anderson of Cumberland., sick and weak in Body. Land lying on the south side of Appomattox River adj. Archer Allen to be sold to pay debts.
To son Samuel Anderson negro girl Orpha.
To son Francis Anderson negro girl Ruth.
To dau. Eadeth W. Anderson negro girl Liddey, a horse, feather bed and furniture.
To son Baker Anderson negro boy named Sciasar, and a horse.
To son James Anderson negro boy Peter, and a horse.
To dau. Elizabeth Anderson negro girl Patty, horse and saddle, bed, furniture.
Beloved wife Sarah W. Anderson enjoy all real and personal estate during her natural life.
My pore unfortunate son Baker Anderson continue with his mother during her natural life and if he should continue helpless and not able to support himself at the death of his mother my will is that my son Baker Anderson take into his possession any negro he shall shuse out of my estate.
