Tom Benecke (1949 - 2014)
Brief overview:
Tom (65), brother of well-known Randfontein police officer, Warrant Officer Lukas Benecke, went missing on the afternoon of Friday 24th January. His silver Mercedes was found at a taxi rank in Dlamini Street, Bekkersdal on Sunday 26th January, according to SAPS spokesperson, Captain Appel Ernst, a search of the car revealed blood stains on the back seat of the vehicle.
On 30th January, at 04h00, Tom's body was found dead in a cave in Pelzvale.
