About Thomas L Brown
Note about origins
Thomas arrived in Philadelphia aboard a ship that sailed out of Londonderry. That places his origin in Northern Ireland, but not precisely where.
Thomas is genetically related to the Northern Ireland Ewings, specifically via immigrant Rebecca Ewing, who arrived as an indentured servant in Philadelphia, and later married another immigrant named William Lithgow. DNA chromosome analysis places Thomas as a very close relative of Rebecca, since two of his descendants have multiple large overlaps attributable to the Ewing relationship with descendants of Rebecca. The closest possible relationship would have Thomas's mother be a Ewing sibling of Rebecca, and that is what I have done.
