  • Whereas my son Thomas Edwards, by the last will of his great grandmother Mrs. Ann Ingram, dec'd, is entitled to sundry tracts of land and slaves and fee tail, and he to be contented with that.
  • Son Leroy Edwards- the plantation whereon I now live and my land in the forrest, my friend Charles Carter of Corotoman, to take him under his guardianship.
  • Wife to have my mulatto girl Sarah Wiggins, and her child John, and my chair and horses, exclusive of her dower.
  • Son Thomas-my desk, bookcase, and books.
  • Daughter Ann-negro woman known as Black Sarah.
  • Son Robert Edwards-negro boy Isaac, and I desire that John Tayloe, Esq., of Richmond County, to take him under his guardianship.
