Thomas E. Geimer

Thomas E. Geimer, 77 of Wilmington, Delaware, a retired DuPont Office Manager, died September 27, 2007, at Christian Hospital in Newark, Delaware. Born in chicago, Mr. Geimer was a resident of Ashton before moving to Wilmington 13 years ago. He was a business graduate of DePaul University in Chicago.

For 36 years Mr. Geimer was employed by the DuPont Company in Wilmington where he was an office manager at the time of his retirement in 1984. He was a real estate agent for B. Gary Scott and Century 21 after retirement. A Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Geimer was a member of the St. Helena's Church in Wilmington. He was devoted to his family. Mr. Geimer was an avid Phillies fan. He was the son of the late Alfred and Katherine Vanderooi Geimer.

Survivors: Wife of 46 years, Mary J. Perveiler Geimer; daughter, Joan Hanson of Brandenton, Florida; sons Mark T. Geimer of Sweedesboro, New Jersey, Greg Geimer of Douglasville, Berks County, Jerry Geimer of Upper Chichester; brother, Raymond Geimer of Chicago; five grandchildren.
