Military service:

Enlisted in US Army 22 April 1893 in Camden, New Jersey.

Served in Alabama, Texas, California and Oklahoma.

Rose to US Army Battalion Master Sergeant.

Served in Hospital Corps 10th Div 12th Inf Div Major, Phillipine Scouts. Based on review of Officer lists. Appears he was listed until about 1906.

He then transferred to the Phillipine Scouts, a local militia unit created by the army, about 1906 as 2nd Lieutenant.

1910 in Phillipines (First Lieutenant, Phillipine Scouts, US Army)

Retired as Major in 1922.

Returned to the US and lived in LaJolla, CA.
